Constructed from durable waterproof materials, the Stratosphere features a 5000 mm hydrostatic head waterproof rating for the outer shell and 8000 mm waterproof floor, ensuring dependable protection from rain and wet ground conditions. The breathable upper fabric (5000 g/m²/24h) helps reduce condensation and improves overall comfort during overnight use.

The shelter uses seven ultra-lightweight aluminium poles (six plus one spare) to create a raised canopy around the head area. This design provides extra space for movement, improved airflow, and a more comfortable sleeping environment compared to traditional bivvi bags.

For added protection and usability, the Stratosphere includes a roll-up mosquito net made from no-see-um mesh at the hood opening, keeping insects out while allowing fresh air to circulate. A rear ventilation panel further improves airflow and helps minimise condensation buildup.

The bivvi bag features taped seams for enhanced waterproof performance and a full-length side zipper for easy entry and exit. It comes complete with Y-profile tent pegs, lightweight poles, and a compression stuff sack for compact storage and easy transport.
