Original vintage military metal flask was issued During World War II for soldiers in the Swedish Army for use in the field. These flasks were typically made of metal and came with a wool pouch to protect them from damage. The flask had a metal cap that could be unscrewed to fill it with water or other liquids and then screwed back on to keep the contents secure. The wool pouch provided additional insulation and protection, as well as a convenient way to carry the flask when not in use.
